2008! WOW....remember when we were kids and we tried to imagine what life would be like in the year 2000? While we aren't hoovering around in space cars 10 feet off the ground, things are definently diffrent from when I was a kid!
Anyway, I've taken the last month to enjoy the holidays and my family. Was on a tighter budget this year so while I missed out on the mad Xmas shopping frenzy...it was nice to not overdo it.
I've set a goal for myself this year:
To become healthier, on the inside AND outside. Course that includes losing weight, taking better care of myself, working on some of my personal demons and issues that follow me. LOL Any progress I make, I will consider a success towards reaching my goal! AND a big part being healthier is writing more. LUCKY YOU GUYS. hehehehe
While I away, I turned 41. Not that big of deal, other than it seems I have TOTALLY lost my eyesight in last month. GEEZ...time for a visit to the eyedoctor. I "see" (barely) glasses in my future. I'm wondering if contacts are an option.....
Tonight David is having family over to celebrate my BDay. So nice of him...but that means pizza, munchies and cake. UGH. So much for DAY ONE of getting healthier. I've vowed to have ONE small slice of pizza and NO appetizers. Wish me luck.

I laugh at myself as my arms have to get longer so I can read those items up close. I'm only 42 for heaven's sake!
Somehow I never thought bifocals would happen to me. Course I didn't think being fat, sagging boobs or wrinkles and gray hair would happen either. Or painful knees.
But there are rewards for getting older. You can do what you want! So go ahead and eat pizza if you want. Just remember your goals at that next meal!

Happy belated birthday, Christina! And they do make bifocal contacts (which are my next move up the contact lens chain, I fear). Hang in there!
Part of my NY plan is to work more on the inside healthy, particularly the mess in my head but I haven't been to the gym in two weeks because of my coughing! I'm just going to start hoping for more happiness in 08 compared to 07.
