Sooo,
Soo, as my title suggest; I am a total random person....full of contradictions and various interests.
~~I love to be a girly girl, get all dressed up in designer jeans and nice jewelry...and go out on the town. Yet the next day you can find me in dirty jeans and a 3 day old tshirt (that I picked up off the closet floor) with greasy hair pulled into a ponytail.
~~I love to shop for clothes, jewelry and fun things like that. Yet my current obsession is being FRUGAL and saving as much money as I can on groceries.
~~I LOVE celebrities..read all the gossip sites. AND I have some defininte views when it comes to politics.
~~I'm a mom yet I love being sexy and things that go with it.
~~I LOVE to cook. I love to find new recipes and try them out. But I also love having someone else do the cooking for me...as in some really good resturants!
Having said all that, there are days where I wonder exactly what this blog is? I have days where I wonder if I should start other blogs: FRUGAL blogs, cooking blogs, family blog? I also wonder if I have readers if they prefer one to the other?
I have finally come to the realization that THIS blog is MY blog. And as the title says...its gonna be RANDOM. For me, blogging is all about a place to journal. Sure its also out there for the world to read, but if its my blog I should feel comfortable with what it is. And not worry about attracting certain readers as opposed to others.
Expect that one day I might talk about my weight loss struggles, another day I might post my grocery savings, the next will be pictures of my recipes and then yet another day might be thoughts and vents. And yes I will post the occasional SEXY topic. (nothing toe curling....LOL)
Its gonna be a variety.....but again....I'm a RANDOM person so my blog should be as well:-)

SHOPPING!
Oh such fun! I got to go shopping for clothes today. My sister-in-law (and one of my bestest girlfriends) took me to the mall. It was fun to get out of the house, it was fun to go with a girlfriend to help pick out outfits with, it was fun modeling the clothes for someone else and it was fun going out to lunch. We laughed, chatted and had a great time.
We are going to L.A. for the weekend. We both are Cookie Lee Consultants; she is a full time consultant while I am a Personal Shopper....mostly for MYSELF. Anyway this weekend is their annual convention. So we are heading out of town for that. And of course we needed new clothes for our trip. LOL
So now I feel all fashionable! Unfortunately this is more of a business trip than pleasure. Not a whole lot of site seeing..but we will try to squeeze some in on Sunday before we have to head home.
Now I have only tomorrow to pack, make a grocery list for David, pick up the house AND run last minute errands.

Life keeps getting in the way.
Yes, I have every intention of updating this blog. I always have lots to say. Yet life has been so crazy lately I just haven't had the time to get on here. It frustrates me...but I guess I shouldn't complain that my life is filled with 'busyness' :-)
I've been enjoying Summer. Entertained family from CA; been out of town, several times for relaxing vacations; been busy getting settled into the new house; enjoying lots of family/friends gatherings and birthdays.
Work is slow (Real Estate...blah). I'm working on getting my home office whipped into shape so I can be more efficent.
Done lots of cooking lately. And yes....even....BAKING. Who knew? LOL but I make a pretty mean Apple Crisp and Blueberry Cobbler!!!!
So hopefully I can get here more often. I have tons of recipes to share! Lots of pictures and fun stuff.

The Zen of Sarcasm
The Zen of Sarcasm
1. Do not walk behind me, for I may not lead. Do not walk ahead of me, for I may not follow. Do not walk beside me either. Just pretty much leave me the hell alone.
2. The journey of a thousand miles begins with a broken fan belt and leaky tire.
3. Its always darkest before dawn. So if you're going to steal your neighbor's newspaper, that's the time to do it.
4. Don't be irreplaceable. If you can't be replaced, you can't be promoted.
5. Always remember that you're unique. Just like everyone else.
6. Never test the depth of the water with both feet.
7. If you think nobody cares if you're alive, try missing a couple of car payments.
8. Before you criticize someone, you should walk a mile in their shoes.
That way, when you criticize them, you're a mile away and you have their shoes.
9. If at first you don't succeed, skydiving is probably not for you.
10. Give a man a fish and he will eat for a day. Teach him how to fish, and he will sit in a boat and drink beer all day.
11. If you lend someone $20 and never see that person again, it was probably a wise investment.
12. If you tell the truth, you don't have to remember anything.
13. Some days you're the bug; some days you're the windshield.
14. Everyone seems normal until you get to know them.
15. The quickest way to double your money is to fold it in half and put it back in your pocket.
16. A closed mouth gathers no foot.
17. Duct tape is like 'The Force.' It has a light side and a dark side, and it holds the universe together.
18. There are two theories to arguing with women. Neither one works.
19. Generally speaking, you aren't learning much when your lips are moving.
20. Experience is something you don't get until just after you need it.
21. Never miss a good chance to shut up.
22. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative on the same night.

Home again...
Ahhh, while I had a wonderful vacation and did not want to return, now that I am home; I am glad. Course it helps that we came home to GREAT weather.

Today I am putting my house back in order. My mom entertained a bit up here and the floors are a diaster. LOL

The rest of the week? I'll be preparing my K's 21st BDay Bash on Saturday. Complete with a live band and lots to drink. WAHOO......
